Que nadie se preocupe, lo estamos pasando de miedo en Moscu, andando de arriba a abajo y disfrutando con los amigos. De hecho, siempre digo que a uno le gusta un viaje mas o menos dependiendo de la gente que encuentra, lo que explica lo bien que nos sentimos aqui. De todos modos, la ciudad es preciosa, algunos sitios tranquilos, permiten respirar hondo; otros son caoticos, ruidosos. Nos dijeron o leimos que es una ciudad peligrosa. Vale, lo es... como Madrid o Milan. Pero con un alfabeto diferente.

Me siento como un crio de 4 anyos estos dias, leyendo cada cartel, cada anuncio, letra por letra, aprendiendo de nuevo a leer. Primero traduciendo lentamente a mi propio alfabeto, despues tratando de darle un sentido. Y el caso es que tienen sentido: 'aptek' no es tan diferente del frances o el aleman, 'tacsi' me suena a algo, 'restoran' podria entenderlo la entendida gente que entiende... ¿Sabéis qué? 'Supermarket' es igual que en ingles, asi que en esa no hay que pensar mucho.

Por supuesto, hemos ido a muchos sitios. No queda mucho por visitar (quiero decir, no queda mucho que nos apetezca visitar). Manyana haremos el crucero por el rio, y quiza nos paseemos por las estaciones de metro para verlas (y hacerles fotos). Cuando volvamos a Italia contaremos mas cosas, como orientarse en el metro o la representacion de ballet a la que fuimos ayer.

No worries, we are having a great time in Moscow, walking a lot and enjoying wonderful time with friends. Actually, I always say that one likes a trip depending on people you meet - so that would explain why we are having such a marvelous time here. But anyway the city is beautiful, some places are calm and peaceful, some noisy and crowded. We were told it is a dangerous place. Yeah, maybe... as well as Madrid or Milano could be. Just different alphabet.

I feel like a 4-year-old kid these days, reading every sign, every ad, letter by letter. Like learning again to read. First translating them slowly to my own alphabet, then trying to get the sense. And they have such sense: 'aptek' is not so different from the french or the german, 'tacsi' sounds familiar, 'restoran' can be meaningful for the learned people... You know what? 'Supermarket' is just the same, so that one is easy.

Of course, we have visited a lot of places. Not much remaining to visit (at least, willing to). Tomorrow we will take the boat through the river for a two hours cruise, and maybe we will stop in metro stations just to see (and take photos of) them. When we will return to Italy we will explain some things, like metro issues or the ballet play we went to yesterday.
